Favorite iPhone Apps

Here's a quick list of my favorite apps and why I love them! I broke it up by category so it makes a little more sense and isn't so random.

Social Media

• Twitter ~ I love love LOVE Twitter. This is my most used and favorite social media app. I just enjoy the energy and the vibes that Twitter has. This app can keep me entertained for hours.

• Instagram ~ Insta is another favorite. I post every few weeks but I check it every few hours. I love going through the explore page and watching videos. I do that more often than I scroll through my timeline and like my friends' pics. I hope they put it back in chronological order!

• Snapchat ~ To be honest, I'm not the person that is on Snapchat all day long. I do streaks in the morning and check it periodically throughout the day. I do, however, really enjoy taking selfies on Snap and posting blog updates there as well.

• Tumblr ~ Similar to my Twitter account, I have tens of thousands of followers on Tumblr. I use Tumblr the same way I use Twitter ... for entertainment purposes. I also think Tumblr and the accounts I follow are so aesthetically pleasing and calming. I find myself on Tumblr when I can't sleep late at night into the early morning.

Games

• 1010! ~ This is the most addicting game I have ever played! I can actually spend hours playing this game. If you are into puzzle games, check it out!

• Kim Kardashian Hollywood ~ Okay, I know you're thinking "wtf" right now but this game is fun to a certain degree. I don't obsess over it, but it keeps me from being bored all day long.

• Design Home ~ I love interior design and architecture type games. I just really enjoy putting a room together and making it look really nice. I play this really only once a day, typically in the morning.

Entertainment

• YouTube ~ This is another app that I can easily get lost on and spend hours watching videos. I follow a lot of beauty YouTubers and vloggers, and sometimes find myself watching random science videos.

• Netflix ~ I typically don't watch Netflix on the go, but it is great for plane rides because you can download shows and movies to watch offline.

• Hulu ~ If I ever miss an episode of my favorite show, Hulu got my back. Again, I don't spend a TON of time watching TV shows and movies on my phone, but it's handy sometimes.

• Podcasts ~ I only really listen to a few different podcasts, and this is typically for plane rides too. My favorite right now is The Basement Yard by Joe Santagato.

Editing Apps

• Whitagram ~ I use this app for all of my Instagram posts. It puts a border around the photo but allows you to keep the whole photo in the frame. Ever since I started doing it I haven't been able to stop. You can also crop, brighten, add filters, and do other editing on here too.

• VSCO ~ I love the way VSCO looks. I love how simplistic it is and how easy it is to edit photos. I don't have like a super popular VSCO account but I really just like playing around with photos and seeing how they come out.

Other Apps

• Dunkin' Donuts ~ Never go anywhere without this. I started using it last year and have racked up so many points and offers it's crazy.

• Soundcloud ~ I find a lot of non-mainstream music here which I love. It helps me expand my library of music and try different things.

• Gas Buddy ~ Gas prices are crazy right now, and even when they aren't, I am always in for finding the cheapest gas around.
