Life Update #3

Currently dragging myself through midterms but hey! My schedule is packed right now with school, working two jobs, house hunting, and balancing everything else. I figured I would take a break from the books and come update you all on everything that is going on.

We are in the midst of midterms which is kind of surreal... the semester is already halfway through. Look, I am not complaining because I cannot wait for this semester to be over. I think I have taken half of my midterms so far, and the rest are occurring over the next couple of weeks. It is funny how two of my midterms fell on the same day but the rest are so sporadic throughout the month. By the way, those two midterms killed me. I skipped all my other classes that day to cram for the exams. I ended up doing very well on both of them, but I was exhausted.

Aside from actual midterm exams, I am also working on several group projects which takes up a lot of time. It is very hard to coordinate a time to meet when there are six different people, with six different schedules. One of the projects I am working on, I am stuck with a pretty unmotivated group. Only two maybe three of us actually put in a good amount of effort, which sucks, but we're working through it.

I am planning on starting my semester papers for my global communications and sociology classes soon so that I can get a head start. I procrastinate horribly, and I know I will keep pushing it off until the day before it is due. I cannot do that this semester, though, because when finals comes around I will be in the process of moving and will not have the time to write ten page essays.

October is nearly halfway over which is insane. I honestly never thought this time of year would come so fast, and now everything is happening at once. There is so much to do and literally no time to do it, but I am going to try. Even though life has been extremely stressful and overwhelming lately, I am still so excited about everything that is about to happen!
